Dr. Soraya Hoover is of Egyptian origin, was educated in Cairo, and did her post graduate residency training in England and Canada. Also due to her interest in Tinnitus / Vertigo did a fellowship with Dr. Dix at the Hospital for Nervous Diseases, London. She also trained for two years at the workshops of Dr. M. Portman, Bordeaux, and other otological workshops all around the world where the shunt operation was taught.
